class of 2016!

today is little bb's graduation day!

knowing that he has been rehearsing the songs for the ceremony
we asked him not to give us the tiniest hint of what he would be singing or doing
as we didn't want anything to ruin our anticipation......

and
he caught us by surprise!

there was a laminated card which he brought back home from school one day.
it has verses from the Bible...
when we asked him what was it about,
he was telling us things that we couldn't figure out!
one minute he would be saying he has to read it out by himself on stage....
the next minute he said he has to say it with other classmates...
then he would say it is for father's day.
seems like he has no clue what it was about!

then, the mystery was solved:

it was indeed a very small matter.
but it did make somotu and me proud... for finally, he is no longer afraid to speak in front of crowds!
we see confidence and happiness in his eyes...

... and with his friends...

the class presenting a big thank you card to the home room teacher....

surely little bb had a great school year...
he hasn't missed a single day of school as he loves going to school so much...

we are so happy that he loves this school so much...

i was telling somotu the other day...
little bb has grown so tall now that it sometimes makes me forget he is still just a 5 year old boy....
still my little baby...
we shouldn't be too harsh on him
it's more important that he enjoys everyday.... stay happy and healthy (and innocent *smile*)
we rather him takes his time to explore the world, to find out more about himself, his likes and dislikes,
rather then rushing him through things, signing him up for this and that, etc...

afterall, there is only one childhood and it is a only a short period of time on the whole scheme of things.

childhood is to be enjoyed, to make mistakes, to be loved...........
