*under construction*

i started this little project during my maternity leave.
i wanted to put together photo albums to record little bb's growth and special moments.
instead of buying the regular photo albums,
i got sketch books, plain binders from muji....
the idea was that i could also scribble notes and thoughts next to the pictures,
so that when we all look at the pictures 10, 20, 30 years down the road,
the notes and words would bring back memories....
and the other reason was, i couldn't find any photo albums i like!

thought that i would have plenty of time to make put together enough photo albums before i return to work.
but no......
all the photo albums are still *under construction*.

it's becoming harder and harder to find time to sit down peacefully and work on my silly ideas....
but i will try!

the one above is a sketch book to which i have added inital monograms to the cover....

stamped words and lace monogram with little bb's initial on a piece of cardboard for another album.
the fun part was with the edges of the cardboard....
i found a paper border cutter in lace pattern, which i have forgotten about, in the box of stamps while choosing which stamps to use...

for this one, i used the paper border cutter again to make the little frame....
and hand stamped little bb's name...

so far i have started on 4 different photo albums...
one is for little bb's first arrival...  i wrote quite a bit in this one as it started with pictures of me waiting in the delivery room to coming back home.
another is for little bb's 1 month old and 3 months old little birthday party at home...
and the fourth one contains random pictures throughout.

will try to finish off these ones first before i start on new ones!

These are really really pretty! And it's great to have something so special to look through every once and a while.

The pictures you took are beautiful too:)
