yay!

when it comes to cooking and anything to do with the kitchen,
i am extremely extremely clumpsy and that it seems all my common sense has vanished!

for all the years we have been married, i have only cooked once for somotu.
and that was the one and only one time.
because during the meal, somotu said "pleasssee, don't ever cook again."
that was how bad that meal went.

last week, while i was busy running around getting things for chinese new year,
i came across kits to make different kinds of sweeties at muji.
there are different difficulty levels and of course, i only let myself went for level 1 - EASY!

after much thought, i went for the kit for making chocolate balls on sticks...
the photo on the kit box looks really attractive.
and i thought drawing different patterns on the chocolates would be fun.
i did have hesitation....
as i wasn't sure if i could manage making the chocolate ball round enough, etc etc... many worries!

the process of making the chocolate balls was fun and not as difficult to manage as i thought
but i must admit i was nervous with shaky hands!!

i think the end products look quite alright....
yay!!!

this gives me a little bit more confidence to try something else....  or maybe even move up to level 2!

oh....  i almost forgot to mention...  i gave one to somotu to try and he said "quite good"!
yay x 2!!!!

the taste is not bad... inside is caramel crunch with raspberry syrup... good that it is a well-prepared kit by muji, otherwise i don't think i could make them!!!

I got the kit to make the chocolate sandwich. is your kit easy to make? they look so so good :)

hi dindin, this one is quite easy to make... i think the most difficult part is the drawing on the chocolate balls. make sure you don't squeeze the pen to hard otherwise too much chocolate will come out and makes it difficult to draw small patterns.

the chocolate sandwich looks very pretty too but i wasn't sure if i could make it so i didn't get them....

sorry wonder again (haha), you mother-in-law won't blame you does not cook?

like me i also a bad cook, so my mother-in-law will "單打" me all the time...!

i think you will be a good cook, when the baby was born!

actually she did at the beginning... saying how his son lacked chinese soup (the double boiled ones).... but my previous job was really crazy. by the time i got home, it was already 11pm or later. how would i have time to cook anything. so i bought the soup coupons from those chain stores inside the MTR stations for my husband.... in the end, she gave up on me! hahaha
