more of this & that

inspired by the first picture...

* a glass jar which i have been wanting for a long time is now finally in my hands....
and holding vintage spools of thread...

* a vintage-looking sewing machine.....

... which is not really a sewing machine....
rather, it's a mini storage box....
it was one of my birthday gifts from the girls last year...
it was hiding for the longest time....
i think it's about time to let it breathe and see sunlight

* just realized that i didn't add that link to my last post...
here it is..... no. 28089
the "fingers-eating-machine"

* i spoke to somotu about something that is in my mind alot recently and his response was:
"you have to make your own choice. to leave the island or stay. hahahaha....."
"even if you leave the island, it will be your destiny to return in three years time..."
i was like, "what?????????????????"
i seriously think he has been brainwashed by LOST...
he is catching up with all the previous seasons of LOST in the past few days (note: many many episodes watched in just a few days!!)...
which is making me really dizzy..... and crazy....
i am not really a TV nor movie person....
luckily he told me there is only a few more episodes left....
i can enjoy some quietness until 2010.... the final season....

i vote for "to leave the island"!! for better or worse, it's time for a change! at least there is a chance that it will be better than staying on the island!!

*voting with my hands and feet*!!

i know the sewing machine is from city super... check out the one in CWB, i think they may still have it... apart from this sewing machine, i think they also have other storage box, like typewriter, old-fashioned turntable...

joanna ~ thanks for the support. there is actually a twist to it... will tell you in person.
