Collect, admire & dream

my scrap books...
... my habit of cutting out pictures and images i see and like from reading all sorts of magazines...
... saving them for different reasons: things that give me inspiration, things that i would like to try making, things that i would like to own, things that i like but would never own, things that are just... pretty...
... every now and then, i will take these books out to flip thru the pages and just... admire the things and DREAM!
... and over the years, i find changes about myself.  e.g. i become neutral to things that i used to be crazy about, i forgot why i even bother to cut out some of the pictures, etc...  it's quite interesting to see my likes and dislikes evolve...
... though one thing that has been consistent all these years is my love for lace and pale colors....
... my dream room....
... pale colors, plain, floral wallpaper, antique mirror, zakka...
... NO computer cords lying around the floor and table, NO mess, NO dark colored furniture and appliances, NO dirt, NO DVDs, VCDs and magazines flying around (please note, somotu)
... OH, this is a VERY VERY VERY important picture.
... this picture has changed our lives.
... this is the start of our doggie days..
... when i first saw this picture (some 4 yrs ago), i didn't know what breed this doggie is.  i just thought it was super cute.  when i showed it to somotu, he thought the same too.
... it was a pure coincidence that i found out it is a poodle (at that time, my impression of a poodle was: shaved, naked and ugly!)
... and shortly after seeing this picture, brownie the poopoo joined our family!!!
... i still like this crocheted ceiling lamp
... and of course yoshimoto nara's creatures
... trying out different fonts for our brand, "motu & fox"
... drawings and ideas
... lace~~~y
... more lace~~~~yyyy
... nice camisoles...
... nice necklaces...

ever since i started blogging, the pages in these scrap books have been going at a slow pace....
think i should pick up this old hobby again...
